Jet City Media LLC ("Jet City Media," "we," "us," or "our") operates TheEdgeApp.com (the "Site"), a private team onboarding and training portal for Independent Business Owners ("IBOs" or "team members") affiliated with The Edge team. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect through the Site, how we use and share it, and the choices you have.
This policy applies to information collected through TheEdgeApp.com, including its member portal, onboarding courses, forms, AI-powered tools, and the email and text messages we send in connection with the Site. It does not apply to websites or services operated by Sunrider International or any other third party, including your own replicated or company-provided websites. Those are governed by their own privacy policies.
By creating an account or using the Site, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
Information you provide to us. When you register for the Site, complete onboarding, fill out a form, or contact us, we may collect:
Name, email address, phone number, and mailing address
Your Sunrider IBO ID number, sponsor or upline name, and rank
Account login credentials (your password is stored in encrypted form)
Business goals, product experiences, and personal stories you enter into onboarding forms or AI tools
Social media handles or profile links you choose to share
Messages, questions, and feedback you send us
Any other information you choose to provide
Information collected automatically. When you use the Site, we and our service providers automatically collect certain technical information, including IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, pages visited, time spent on pages, course progress and completion, links clicked, and whether you opened or clicked an email or text message from us.
Information from third parties. We may receive information about you from your sponsor or team leader (for example, confirmation that you have joined The Edge team), from Sunrider in connection with verifying your IBO status, or from social media platforms if you connect an account or interact with our content there.
We do not collect payment card information through the Site. Any product purchases or enrollment fees are processed by Sunrider or another payment processor under their own privacy policies.
We use the information we collect to:
Create and manage your account and verify your eligibility as a team member
Deliver onboarding courses, training materials, scripts, and launch sequences
Track your progress so you and your sponsor can see where you are in the onboarding process
Personalize training content and AI-generated materials to your goals and experience
Send you emails and text messages about onboarding steps, team events, training, and updates (see Section 4)
Respond to your questions and provide support
Monitor and improve the Site, troubleshoot problems, and analyze how the Site is used
Protect the security of the Site and prevent fraud or misuse
Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it to serve third-party advertising.
Email. By registering, you agree to receive onboarding and training emails from us. You may unsubscribe from marketing and training emails at any time using the link at the bottom of any email. We may still send you transactional messages, such as password resets or account notices.
Text messages (SMS). If you provide your mobile number and opt in, we may send you text messages related to onboarding steps, reminders, training, and team announcements. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message. Reply HELP for help. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of joining The Edge team or purchasing any product.
We will not share your mobile phone number or SMS opt-in consent with third parties or affiliates for their marketing purposes. Your mobile information is used only to deliver the messages described above.
Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
We share personal information only in the following circumstances:
Service providers. We use third-party companies to host the Site, store data, send email and text messages, run our customer relationship management (CRM) system, provide analytics, and power AI features. These providers process your information only on our behalf and under contractual obligations to protect it. Our primary platform provider is HighLevel (GoHighLevel), which hosts the member portal, courses, and messaging tools.
Your sponsor and team leadership. Because the Site supports a team structure, your sponsor, upline leaders, and Edge team administrators may see your name, contact information, onboarding progress, and rank so they can support you. They are not permitted to use this information for any purpose other than supporting your business with The Edge team.
Sunrider International. We may share limited information with Sunrider to verify your IBO status or as required under Sunrider's policies and procedures.
Legal reasons. We may disclose information if required by law, subpoena, or court order, or if we believe disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, your safety, or the safety of others, or to investigate fraud or misuse.
Business transfers. If Jet City Media LLC is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you of any change in ownership or use of your personal information.
With your consent. We may share information for any other purpose you direct or consent to.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for their own marketing.
The Site uses cookies and similar technologies (such as pixels and local storage) to keep you logged in, remember your preferences, track course progress, and understand how the Site is used. Our service providers may also set cookies to deliver these functions.
We may use analytics tools, such as Google Analytics or Meta Pixel, to measure traffic and the effectiveness of our communications. These tools collect information such as your IP address, device, and pages visited.
You can control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling cookies may prevent you from logging in or using some features of the Site. The Site does not currently respond to "Do Not Track" browser signals.
The Site includes AI-powered tools that help you create scripts, social media posts, launch sequences, and other content for your business. When you use these tools, the information you type in (such as your personal product story, your goals, or details about your audience) is sent to a third-party AI service provider to generate a response.
Please keep the following in mind:
Do not enter sensitive personal information into AI tools, such as health conditions, financial account details, or information about other people without their permission.
AI-generated content is a starting point. You are responsible for reviewing it and making sure it complies with Sunrider's policies, including rules about income and product claims, before you publish it.
We may retain your inputs and the generated outputs to improve the tools and to provide you with your content history.
Our AI providers are contractually restricted from using your inputs to train their models, where that option is available to us.
Retention. We keep your personal information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide you with the Site's services. If you leave The Edge team or ask us to close your account, we will delete or anonymize your information within 90 days, except where we need to keep it to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce our agreements, or maintain business records. Aggregated, de-identified data may be kept indefinitely.
Security. We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), encrypted password storage, and access controls that limit who on our team can see member data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for notifying us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.
Location of data. Jet City Media LLC is based in the United States, and your information is stored and processed in the United States. If you access the Site from outside the U.S., you understand your information will be transferred to and processed in the U.S.
You can:
Access and update your account information at any time by logging into the Site or contacting us.
Opt out of marketing emails using the unsubscribe link in any email.
Opt out of text messages by replying STOP.
Request deletion of your account and personal information by contacting us at the address in Section 10.
Disable cookies through your browser settings.
State privacy rights. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under state privacy laws, such as the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA), the Washington My Health My Data Act, or similar laws in Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Texas, Oregon, and other states. These rights may include the right to know what personal information we collect, the right to correct or delete it, the right to obtain a copy of it, and the right to opt out of its sale or sharing. We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the information in Section 10. We will verify your identity before responding and will respond within the time required by applicable law. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your privacy rights.
Children's privacy. The Site is intended for adults who are 18 or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
Third-party links. The Site may link to Sunrider's websites, social media platforms, and other third-party sites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites. Please review their privacy policies before providing any information.
Independent business owners. Jet City Media LLC and The Edge team are independent of Sunrider International. Team members are independent business owners, not employees of Jet City Media LLC or Sunrider. This policy covers only the information Jet City Media LLC collects through the Site.
Changes to this policy. We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the revised policy on the Site and update the date at the top. If the changes are significant, we will notify you by email or through a notice on the Site. Your continued use of the Site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
